Chatsworth Storage: Who Should Use It?

Humans have always been nomads, but with time our assets have increased. Today, when we opt for a nomadic lifestyle after a long sedentary one, we need to look out for Chatsworth Storage to keep our assets safe. Chatsworth Storage are ideal places to tuck away stuff that you feel you will not be using currently. Self-storage is essential for people who have moved to some other location for a short time. In such cases they cannot keep all their household possessions with them. So, they look out for self-storage options, wherein they get to keep all their possessions. There are many businesses and households in San Fernando Valley, where they need self storage and mobile storage options. There are many companies that provide great storage solutions.

Who uses Chatsworth Storage?

One of the most common reasons for opting storage spaces is the fact that there is very less space at our current houses and we are not able to throw or giveaway things any further. This is very common occurrence when you relocate or receive heirloom furniture that you have no idea where to use and cannot give it up for sentimental reasons.

The other people who opt for self storage are people who are posted out of the country for an extended period of time but are sure that they will return. At these times, it is ideal to opt for Chatsworth Storage where you can store your china, glasses and other delicate items that you do not intend to carry along with you.

Along with expats there are others who prefer to take a sabbatical and travel for a year, renting a house for that long a period just to store your stuff will be expensive. A storage place is a cheaper option that will let you travel at ease without worrying about high house rent.

Furniture is not the only thing you can store away at a storage place; people use these places to even tuck away their fancy cars or bikes. Chatsworth Storage is an ideal choice because of safety reasons and the best part you do not have to hunt a place for parking your fancy toy. Some homes do not have a garage or ample parking space and when you have children and are worried about dents, finger prints and smudges on the chrome painting, a storage place is a parking haven.

There are several people who have hobbies that take up a lot of space, and in times like these when space at home is wanting, a storage place comes to our rescue. These are ideal for people who have hobbies like collecting toy trains etc which will need proper storage

The safety and security are foremost concern when you are storing important documents or even family heirlooms. The storage unit can boast of high category security measures. The place is well maintained and lighted and properly fenced and not to forget about fire alarms and video surveillance.

There are several Chatsworth Storage that will take your stuff from your doorstep and store it at their facilities. Their standard of service never leaves any scope for complaints. You can access your items whenever you want. This often happens with business documents or machineries needed at odd hours. This is one self storage unit which never sleeps!

3 Steps to Loving Your Inner Child

Did you know there is a child within you who has a free and fun loving spirit?

She loves to play just for play's sake and laughs out loud from her belly because it feels so very good. She enjoys creating, has a wonderful imagination and a sense of awe and wonder.

This child believes in magic and miracles. She also believes in a friendly world where she can receive anything for no reason, including all the love she desires.

As adults, the essence of this free child is in every one of us. The sad truth is, that somewhere along the way, most of us have been wounded and today, we don't always live from this place of creativity, love and freedom.

This same child within has a wounded aspect as well. This wounded child has been taught the world isn't so safe after all. She has perfected the skill of manipulating others to get what she needs. She does this by using one of the following techniques:

  • Being the good girl and turning on her charm
  • Throwing a tantrum or pouting Withdrawing and isolating herself, hoping others will come searching for her
  • Pretending to be sick, hurt or needy

Do any of these sound familiar?

As an adult, chances are very good that this wounded child within still uses similar tactics for getting love and attention today.

Do you ever find yourself fearful of what other people think? Do you ever have feelings of abandonment, rejection or humiliation? Do you give your power away by saying "yes", then beating yourself up inside because you really wanted to say "no" but were too afraid?

This is your wounded child in action and it is part of the resonance or inner Feng Shui that makes you who you are as an adult today.

So how do you heal your wounds and reclaim that laughing, creative, care-free child within?

Take Action Now

  1. Recognize what's going on – as with any personal growth, this is the first step. Notice the different feelings and emotions you have when you are in certain circumstances or around certain people. Notice when you feel fearful or alone. Get curious. What are you afraid of?
  2. Find your nurturing parent within … the part of you who you access so easily for your own children and others you care about. Reconnect with this nurturing parent energy and just be there for yourself. Allow yourself to feel the fear and have compassion for this wounded aspect of you. Love this part of you, without judgment.
  3. Notice patterns. Do you feel most frightened before a social event or family get-together? Is there one person in particular you are threatened by such as a boss, an in-law or another authoritative figure? Are there certain circumstances that trigger your fear, such as speaking in front of groups? Notice your body posture and voice tone. There is a good chance you are showing up in your child aspect in these situations. Have a talk with yourself. Allow your inner child to stay behind in a safe place and show up in full adult (Hint: Your body position will change). Not only will you notice a difference in the situation, but others around you will too!

Spend time honoring your free inner child. You can do this by taking a class in something creative (watch out for wanting to do it right or perfect!), playing in the garden, being silly and laughing out loud, drawing with new colored markers, baking cookies, or star-gazing…all for the fun of it!

Commitment and Accountability Should Outrank Cost When Considering a Coaching Relationship

When I meet people for the first time and especially at various business networking events, the subject eventually gets around to what business am I in. After I identify myself as a Midlife Transition Coach I have sometimes heard the comment from those who are familiar with what a coach does say to me, "Given my financial situation, I probably can't afford your rates". While I do feel it is a bit presumptuous to make that comment when a conversation on fees has not even taken place, it actually leaves out a couple of very important factors that a coach considers before taking on a relationship with a client.

For a client to receive the full benefit of a coaching relationship, the client must be able to answer for themselves where their level of commitment is in looking to examine and ultimately take the life changing actions they seek in moving forward with their life. After they have answered that question, an equally important one is their willingness to work with an individual who will hold them accountable to what they commit to doing between sessions as they look to assimilate the actions they indicate they will take into their every day life.

Yes, as a coach I do like being paid for my services. I also realize that each individual has their own financial situation which they must consider before committing to working with a coach. However, even if one believes they cannot afford an ongoing coaching relationship, there are plenty of things they can do for themselves to help move forward in their life.

Group coaching is often far less expensive for the individual than individual coaching. Finding a group of people who are sharing the same issues as you, (or even putting together a group of friends sharing similar issues), and being led by a trained facilitator to help lead group discussion and uncover solutions, is an option open to you. Individual sessions may be offered by coaches at discount or complimentary rates, even if to provide one an example of how a coaching relationship works. Are you taking advantage of them? If not, why are you not? There are numerous self improvement books in the library or at local bookstores to which one can avail oneself. The internet provides access to many different self improvement sites with insightful articles and blogs which can help provide guidance to the individual.

However, taking advantage of what these and any other sources of similar nature offer you, start with the individual. Just reading articles or discussing change, without commitment to action, is going to lead you nowhere. Taking the same actions over and over again, and expecting to get different results, is also not going to work for one either. Being reluctant to get the support of others and just relying on yourself to solve your problems is admirable on the surface but limits you only to the ideas and thought process of one person. Sharing with others, and then making a commitment to them that you will look to take action that is different from the normal for you, or which gets you out of your comfort zone, is a step on the road to progress.

If you find yourself stuck and can't move forward or seem to find the answer, ask yourself some of the following questions? What help can I seek? Which hurts me more, to make a change and try something different in my life or to keep the status quo as is and continue to suffer with those items that are bothering me in my every day life? When will I put time aside for my needs and not worry about only the needs of those around me, or what those around me might say if I spent some time focusing on myself?

And, when you have the answers to some of these questions and others like them, then ask yourself if there is going to be a cost to getting the assistance I need to move my life forward? How much do I value myself? What am I spending money on now or have in the past that was a choice I made based on the value I placed on it as something I wanted as part of my life? If I made that choice, what is different about making this choice to invest in myself and helping to discover what I want for my life, when the returns on that investment have the chance of being so much greater for me?

Yes, the financial cost of investing in oneself is definitely a consideration when making that choice. However, even more important is the commitment to both exploring and making the life changing actions you seek, and the subsequent commitment of being accountable to both an accountability partner and yourself for trying to implement those actions into your life on a regular basis.

A Big Fat Lie - Time Heals All Wounds

But it is one of the most destructive cliches, simply because it sounds so close to the truth that it is difficult to spot the big lie here.

At risk of sounding too philosophical, time is an artificial structure that we have created, much like state or country lines. (Have you ever seen a state line? I used to look for them on the ground when I was a kid.)

What I say to clients when they say "time heals all wounds" is that time doesn't heal anything, time simply passes. It is what we do with our lives while time is passing that either helps us, heals us or keeps us stuck.

In my work over the years, I have noticed that some people seem to have an ability to accept the hurts and disappointments of life and then move on. They have a certain resiliency.

Others seem to stay stuck in their pain, living as if the painful events of their lives had occurred just moments ago.

As I sought to understand the strategies of these different types of people, some interesting differences made themselves clear.

What follows are lists of strategies for how to remain miserable and then strategies for how to heal, move on, and thrive.

How to stay miserable

o Complain about the unfairness of it all. ("This should not have happened" - "How could anyone do such a thing?")

o Organize your life around the event, trauma or injustice. Make it a central theme in your life. Talk about nothing else. Bore your friends.

o Remain bitter and unforgiving. A wise friend of mine once said, "Not forgiving someone is much like trying to crush a sandspur between your fingers. You might eventually do it, but it sure is going to hurt."

o Become a victim. Give up your power to take responsibility and control over your own life.

o Play the scene over and over in your mind. Keep thinking of what you should have done or what you should have said.

How to movz on, heal and thrive

o Talk about it. Many of us mistakenly believe that if we keep it inside it won't bother us. Quite the opposite is true. Remember the character -Tom Wingo in "Prince of Tides" and the damage done by not talking about the trauma that had happened in his family? Many times, getting it. out in the open can make it manageable.

o Forgive those involved. Forgiving does not condone what someone else did, it simply releases us from the pain of their actions.

o Most importantly, follow this favorite advice of mine:

"Make a place for the event in your life and then put it in its place."

It's important to remember that it did happen and it did affect you. At the same time, its place is in the past, much like a chapter in a book you have read and choose not to read again.

o If you find yourself wanting to but unable to follow these suggestions, you may want to get professional help putting the past behind you.

Achieving Prosperity Consciousness

Statistics indicate that the majority of people in the United States, after spending the major part of their lives in work they sometimes don't even enjoy, end up barely able to survive on social security and a small pension, if they have one at all.
Reprogramming your ideas about money will attract it to you far more quickly than working a twelve-hour day and diligently saving every nickel. The road to riches is paved with strong, positive ideas, held constantly in the mind, eventually attracting an abundance of money into your life. Accumulating wealth is the result of an attitude, and not the outcome of hard labor; thus changing your attitude is the key to becoming rich. Your inner feeling about money determines whether or not you will have it, because that to which you give your attention is what manifests in your life.
If you focus attention on the lack of money and the fear of poverty, that is what's reinforced and becomes a reality for you. All human wealth is created by the human mind and those who believe they deserve to be wealthy can create it.
Don't fall into the negative attitude of resenting affluent people, those who have amassed far more than their share. If you resent wealthy people you'll end up resenting yourself when you make money. Focus on the positive; remember that the money you make goes back into the economy to be distributed to others, which helps prosper everyone you buy from or give money to.
Before you can become rich, you must believe that you deserve it. It's impossible to convince your subconscious mind to bring you money if you have been programmed to the idea that you don't deserve it.
Sometimes it's not a fear of success but a fear of failure that prevents people from becoming wealthy. A person may be going along well, accumulating money, and then begins to worry; "I'm making money now, but how long will it last? What if I lost it all?" and so on. You must constantly counteract those negative ideas with positive affirmations such as "I deserve to be wealthy." As soon as you get these thoughts firmly implanted in your consciousness, you have taken a giant step towards achieving wealth.
An affirmation is a strong, positive statement about something you want to manifest in your life. To affirm means to make something firm; thus, by stating your goal in a definite way, you make it more firm to your subconscious mind.
Affirmations are positive signals you send to your brain every time you say them, so that through the law of attraction and vibration, your subconscious can begin working to provide you with whatever you want. Writing down affirmations is an extremely powerful technique for reaching deeply into the subconscious, and is the fastest way to incorporate these ideas into your consciousness. It is far more effective than simply stating your goals. Some of the most dramatic changes occur through using affirmations.
Most people are not successful using affirmations because they already have so many negative ideas about themselves programmed into their subconscious minds that the positive affirmations cannot overcome them. This "poverty consciousness", which may have been with you all your life, will dominate unless you remove all doubt so prosperity consciousness can get a firm foothold. The way to do this is to write down your positive affirmations, and, while you are doing it, listen carefully to your body and your inner feelings for any negative thoughts that negate your affirmation. Write these down, too; then immediately refute them by writing down an opposite response. Keep on this way until you can write the positive affirmation without getting any flak from your mind negating it.
It's advisable to write your affirmations in three persons and always include your own name. Writing it in three persons has the effect of letting your subconscious mind to think others also believe you deserve to be wealthy. For example:
I, [name], deserve to be wealthy and prosperous, and this is coming true for me now.
You, [name], deserve to be wealthy and prosperous, and this is coming true for you now.
She, [name], deserves to be wealthy and prosperous, and this is coming true for her now.
It is best to write a page of affirmations every day. Don't just do it by rote, but really think about and visualize in your minds eye the meaning of the words you write.
You must learn to think abundance constantly and hold steadily to constructive thought. It takes constant vigilance to gain supremacy over the unruly mind. The man or woman who will do this persistently is ensured of tremendous success in every area of life.
The Power To Visualize

Here are few important steps that may help you in achieving good personality:
Enroll Yourself in a Good Personality Development Course: In order to achieve a good personality, the first step is to enroll yourself in a good personality development course. These are comprehensive courses and help you develop your overall personality.
Work on Yourself: Personality Development Training can help you show the path following which you can develop your personality. But it's only you who can work on yourself and improve your character. Make a list of your bad habits and traits. Consult your trainer and try to work on them so that you can evolve as a better human being. Don't hide your problems with your trainer. Communicating them is important so that he or she can show you the right path. Be Consistent in Your Efforts: Once you've decided to attain a good and impressive personality, be consistent, sincere and honest in your efforts. The way you behave and the way you think separate you from the crowd. Each individual is different and has a distinct set of qualities. Work on them and try to improve yourself. Your appearance doesn't matter if you have a sound character. Assess Personal Skills from Time to Time: Assessing and evaluating yourself from time to time is very necessary to check the degree of improvement. If you're enrolled yourself in a personality development course, it's good to maintain your personal diary where you can measure your performance and keep a track of all records. Think Positive: The most important thing in life is to have a positive attitude. Don't lose your heart even if you're not getting concrete results. Try to analyze where you're lacking and why you're not able to achieve your goal.
All these tips will certainly help in achieving an impressive personality. Always remember, it's only you who can change yourself. Your trainers or guides just show you the right path. Rest is up to you.

Finding Ways To Deal with The Unknown

"At times we shall simply have to admit that, one way or another, what we can neither explain nor understand certainly doesn't cease to exist because we cannot understand how it does or why it should."

- Dr Mark Hyman

The above quote is a brilliant way of illustrating the fact that you simply don't know what you don't know until you know it. It may sound funny but it's true. In order to know what you don't know you would obviously have to have some knowledge of it, in which case you would then know it. I don't want to move away from the concept of personal development and life coaching and into the area of philosophy, but I think that this is a very important point. In a way, you could even call this concept faith. It's believing something exist without have any knowledge of it or how or why it exists.

Being able to have the vision and faith to move forward towards something that to our five senses seems impossible is a skill that anyone seeking an exceptional life quality needs. If you can only achieve what you already know, then personal growth would be impossible. What I am saying here is that the only way of successfully dealing with the unknown is from a position of faith. Knowing that, there is a power and intelligence that we cannot understand that is in control of the situation and moving it forward for our greater good. As in the quote, not understanding or being able to explain that power does not cause it to cease to exist.

I have dreams and goals as do we all, and like most I don't know how those dreams will be achieved. The achievement still rests in the unknown for me. By having the faith to know that even though I don't know, a way will reveal itself, gives me the strength and motivation to continue when otherwise defeat would seem the only possible outcome.

One of the big keys to personal development and growth is dealing with the unknown, being able to jump without seeing how high you are or how you are going to land. Faith is the parachute, but it will not open until you make that leap. Most will never make that leap because they need to know the parachute will open before jumping. It just doesn't work like that sadly. If it did, how easy life would be! Nobody knows if a business will succeed until it's opened, nobody knows if a relationships will work until it's entered, nobody wins the lottery without buying a ticket, this is how life works. All of these require a leap of faith into the unknown.

The unknown is not something to fear, it's something to be embraced, it is where you hopes, goals and aspirations currently reside. It is where your destiny is. Overcome your fear and watch your life leap from strength to strength.

Friendship Comes As a Hard Thing For Some People

Friendship comes as a hard thing for some, yet for others it is overly simplistic. Have you ever noticed how easy it seems to be for a particular person to be at ease in their communications with others? You could also look at a variety of people and get just as many variable reactions. What makes one person more seemingly sociable than another is nothing more than confidence. For some, it may seem to be inborn; at least through your eyes. The reality is that they started off no different at birth.
All people are born with a clean slate and an opportunity to have nothing but purity, perfection and peace painted into their minds. The issue becomes whether or not you are coached, coaxed and perhaps coddled with only thoughts and experiences that are filled with love and expectations of success. The reality is that in a physical world that this theory is virtually impossible. We say this because people have always managed to find a way to make themselves think they are bigger and better than others. In some physical instances, this might be correct. However, from the viewpoint of God and Spirit, this is far from the truth. You are all seen as beautiful specimens of the Creation.
Since we have just told you that, you should now be able to look at yourself with the same worthiness that all others have. Even people of great importance are still mere mortals. Without an ego or arrogance, they can be talked to just as you would anyone else. Superiority is a human creation, but not one given by the High Being. Even Jesus should have been easy to approach, and in fact he was. There are many stories that have been passed down through the centuries of his love for all people, regardless of the way other people may have looked at them. This is because they were equal to him. Yes, yes, we know that statement might get some of you a bit angry or quizzical, and we are okay with that. Jesus was one of the few who has walked the earth with the purity of his soul coming out in the purity in the way he lived his life. After all, this Great Master was born to live and be a man, just like all others.
Now, the reason we have brought Jesus into this is specifically to empower you. He, along with your guides, teachers and angels, are present in your aura. They are all there to give you the confidence you need to enhance your circle of friends. This will allow you to have more people who are hopefully of like-minded positive beliefs. What happens is that your level of confidence grows as you learn that you are not, nor should you ever be, spoken to disparagingly. As your inner Light shines, what radiates is the love of God and life that we want you to embrace. You are undeniably worth the attention and praise we give from the side of spirit. May you walk through your day knowing how much adoration shines upon you from the Kingdom of Peaceful Angels. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.
